Icosium certified under ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA

ICOSIUM has obtained certification under both ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA, strengthening the Group’s capabilities in the sourcing and trading of sustainable fuels. The certificates were issued by AmSpec Iberia and are valid until September 2027, covering Icosium’s activities as a trader.

ISCC EU provides a recognised sustainability certification framework for renewable fuels and other sustainable products under the EU Renewable Energy Directive. Since our first cargo delivery into Spain, Icosium has continued to develop its sourcing, trading and logistics capabilities. ISCC EU certification now extends those capabilities to certified renewable volumes.

ISCC CORSIA provides the corresponding certification framework for sustainable aviation fuels eligible under ICAO’s Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA). The certification further strengthens Icosium’s position in the aviation fuel market as airlines progressively increase their use of lower-carbon fuels.

Together, the two certifications broaden the range of products Icosium can offer its clients. Our objective is to provide an integrated supply proposition across conventional refined products, jet fuel and certified sustainable fuels, allowing customers to manage an evolving product mix through a single commercial relationship.

The certifications represent another step in the development of Icosium’s trading platform as the energy and aviation markets transition towards lower-carbon fuel solutions.
